Dollar Store Services Nightmare Part 2

Our nightmare with Dollar Store Services (Las Vegas) began when we listened to what was promised and what was on their website instead of reading the contract extremely carefully and having an attorney looking at our contract before signing it.  We did some homework, but there were no "red flags" on the internet to warn us about the pitfalls of dealing with Dollar Store Services (Las Vegas).  I am starting this blog so that you don't make the same mistakes we made.  After taking the time to read what I have to say, I hope you will have a better understanding of what it will take to be successful in owning your own business.

Dollar Store Services offers the following on their website:

1,000 S.F.  Store  $85,900-------12,000 S.F. Store  $459,900, etc.
They promise to include:

Trainer, Fixtures, Uniforms, Inventory, Site Location, Fax Machine, Freight for Store Setup, Exterior Sign Allowance, Specialty Display Fixtures, Long Term Training Support, Slatboard on Perimeter Walls, Pre-Opening Support and Training, Opening Inventory Shelves (Stocked), Inventory Price Ticketed, Lease Negotiation, Wholesale Support, Buildout Supervisor, Retail Store Buildout, Buildout Staff, Merchandise Network, Stereo System, Cash Registers, Shopping Totes & Carts, Glass Showcase, Checkout Stations, Operating Manual, Interior Signage, and Pricing Equipment.

Sounds great, doesn't it.  Let me tell you what we actually got for our $163,900.  I will let you know all that we learned going through our experience with Dollar Store Services and let you know about all the professional services that they charge for.  I will give you this information for absolutely nothing.  I am just hoping that by doing this, it will prevent other good families from losing everything that they own.

Stay tuned to my blog and I will take you step by step and do for you what I wish someone had done for us.  I will provide you with vendor lists, information, etc.
